Combination Platter with Dolmades, rice pilaf, lamb, Greek potatoes and more

The Greek Islands is the premier Greek restaurant in the western suburbs of Chicago. Its parent location is the Greek Isles in Greek town, on Halstead Street, Chicago. On a scale of 1 to 5, this is a 4.5. They have a very complete menu from lamb, to beef, to all types of seafood.

Miss Becky had the combination platter above and I had the grilled octopus. As appetizers we had saganaki the traditional flaming Greek cheese dish and keftedes which are Greek meatballs.

Greek music plays softly in the background and the ambience is relaxing. They have banquet rooms for large parties or special events with plenty of parking in the lot. This is one of the finest Greek restaurants in the country with a long and rich tradition. If you are ever in the area, either in the Western suburbs or West Loop in Chicago, Looking for a Greek Restaurant, this is it. I highly recommend stopping here for dinner. Grab a glass of Roditis and sit back and enjoy a wonderful evening.
